Meet the Founder

I’m Dr. Lola Esmieu, founder of Ariéluna Coordination and a lifelong believer that events should be experienced, not managed. For over 15 years, I’ve been behind the scenes of major events, programs, and conferences, weddings, and milestone celebrations—directing logistics, guiding teams, and making sure every detail comes together seamlessly.

My Journey

As the first-born daughter of immigrant parents and a first-generation American, responsibility has been part of my story from the very beginning. I’ve always been the one who could handle a lot, balancing competing priorities, keeping things organized, and stepping in to make sure everything stayed on track.

A high school teacher once told me: “Pay attention to details. It’s the details where things come together or fall apart.” That lesson stayed with me, shaping how I approach every event with precision and care , and it’s why clients now describe me as organized, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking.

That drive carried me through my education, earning my doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, where I developed both the academic and practical tools to lead with clarity, empathy, and discipline. As a Chief of Staff, I worked directly with presidents, prominent figures, and high-level stakeholders, experiences that trained me to thrive under pressure and navigate complexity with calm and confidence.

Along the way, I also trained in crisis management, which gives me a rare edge in this field. I have the ability to stay calm and level-headed even in high-intensity moments. Where others may feel stressed and overwhelmed, I find clarity and steadiness.

And above all, I’m a mom. Being a mom is a role that deepens my understanding of what it means to balance responsibility with joy, and to cherish the moments that matter most.

My Philosophy

I don’t plan events, I protect them. My role is to step in on event day as an extension of the host—an extra set of eyes, ears, and hands who cares as deeply about the success of your event as you do. Whether it’s making sure the vendors arrive on time, smoothing last-minute changes, or keeping the timeline intact, I work tirelessly in the background so you can stay present in the foreground.

I thrive on the rush of seeing everything come together and creating beautiful moments that feel effortless for the people experiencing them. I bring the same love, care, and attention that you would if you could be everywhere at once. That’s what coordination means to me: calm in the middle of the swirl.

Why I Do This

For me, coordination isn’t just about logistics, it’s about love, care, and presence. I created Ariéluna Coordination so that couples, teams, and families can actually enjoy their moments, knowing someone they trust is running the show behind the scenes.

• I have a deep love for travel, hotels, and design, and I find inspiration in the way great service, flawless execution, and beautiful design create unforgettable experiences.
